The $75.00 resort fee includes: Daily access to the beach with two complimentary beach chairs, daily coffee and water, access to our property house car, twice-daily fitness classes (morning and evening sessions), access to bicycles, Wi-Fi, and beach toys for children.

We are a dog-friendly hotel. While on hotel grounds, pets must be on a leash at all times and are permitted only in pet walking areas and guestrooms. The pet fee is $100 one time non refundable fee per pet. 2 Pets max. Weight max of 45 lbs per pet.

The Shelborne by Proper is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any public areas such as the pool, food and beverage outlets or guest rooms. A smoking cleaning fee of $750 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.

Reservations must be cancelled or modified 7 days prior arrival, latest at 4pm ( Hotel Time) to avoid a one night fee.

Certain rates and room packages require full deposit and are non refundable, non-cancellable and non-changeable.

Guests may check in after 4PM. The check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in may be available on a case-by-case basis dependent on availability. Please contact us if you would like to inquire about early arrival.

Daily housekeeping service is available from 8:30am to 6pm.

Bluetooth Setup

1. Turn on your unit by short pressing the power knob.
2. On your speaker, short press the power knob until the LED Light Bar is Blue.
3. The LED light will flash blue, indicating pairing mode. If your speaker is not in pairing mode, press the BT Button on the rear of the speaker.
4. 5. 6. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet.

Select the device that has a name similar to “Tivoli Audio M2D_XXXXXX”.

Once the LED Light Bar shines solid blue, you are paired to the radio. After 5 seconds, the light will revert to soft white.

7. You can begin playing your music via Bluetooth.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating. The thermostat on the wall in your room can easily be adjusted to suit your personal comfort — simply touch the on/off button to operate and wait for the touchpad to illuminate. You may choose heating or cooling by pressing the mode button and adjust to desired temperature by using the arrow buttons.

Pool & Beach
Experience effortless relaxation between our pool deck and the sands of Miami Beach. Each guest room includes two poolside chairs and two beach chairs with an umbrella.

Please note, there is no lifeguard on duty. Our Beach Attendant is available daily from 9 AM until 45 minutes before sunset to assist with setup and service.

Chairs, umbrellas, and towels are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Should you vacate your spot for more than 30 minutes, attendants will kindly reset it for another guest. Any belongings left unattended will be safely collected by our staff.

The Pool Deck
Just steps from the shore, The Pool Deck offers a relaxed setting for all-day dining surrounded by palms and private cabanas—a place to linger, lounge, and enjoy fresh, unfussy fare.

Seasonal paletas and Latin-inspired staples like conch fritters and the jerk smash burger bring bold flavor to poolside classics. Lighter, wellness-forward dishes round out the menu—perfect for easy afternoons under the sun.

Pauline, at 1801 Collins Avenue, is Miami’s newest coastal dining destination. Led by Culinary Director Abram Bissell—a Florida Keys native with Michelin-starred experience—the restaurant is a love letter to South Florida’s seafood and the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean and Latin America.

The menu highlights the ocean’s best: Jonah Crab Claws, Conch Ceviche, and Key West Pink Shrimp at the raw bar; Rock Shrimp Fideos and a Caviar Tostada among small plates; and entrées like Lobster & Mussel Sancocho and Turbot Encendido. Everything is prepared without seed oils for a cleaner, more balanced experience.

Named for Pauline Baker, wife and muse of writer Charles H. Baker Jr., the restaurant reflects the couple’s spirit of travel, discovery, and Deco-era Miami.
